Srinagar, Dec 31 (KNO): Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Tuesday said that December 5 will be observed as an official holiday starting next year.
Speaking to the media, Advisor as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that the administration is committed to addressing the concerns of people. “The CM is in the valley, monitoring minute-to-minute developments. For the first time, after snowfall, we witnessed swift restoration of power supply and roads, ensuring that people did not face significant inconvenience,” he said.
He added that snowfall is a blessing for the region, ensuring adequate water supplies for the summer months. “While snowfall naturally disrupts daily life, the administration’s prompt action was widely appreciated by the public,” he added.
The advisor said that people of Jammu and Kashmir need not to get disappointed as next December 05 will be marked as an official holiday—(KNO)
